Ok I need to talk about this fight: According to the fextralife wiki, NG+ Morgott has 15k health, which seems right since it takes 6 ripostes from my Misericorde dealing 2547 damage with the Ritual Sword Talisman (Lloyd's Sword Ring) and the Dagger Talisman (Hornet Ring) to kill him (looking back, I'm not sure whether the two damage numbers on the riposte sum or are seperate). Unfortunately, he needs to be parried thrice in order for you to riposte, so that means he needs to be PARRIED 18 TIMES in total. You can bring this down to 5 ripostes and 15 parries if you use the "Flame, Grant Me Strength" incantation that bumps you up to 3k damage per riposte. However, his phase 2 will trigger at 60-65% health, and riposting with your buff will begin it earlier than if you didn't buff. So, as I did in the video, I ripostes him twice, which kept him in phase 1, and on the third round I buffed to cleave off more damage, along with a buff into phase 2, so that I would only have to riposte him 5 times. He will enter phase 2 on the first parry you perform past his phase change like in 01:18, but this counts toward your 3 parry stack so keep in mind you only need to parry him twice here, otherwise you might roll back and miss a riposte. This would have been an easier fight if I went for safer strats, but then it wouldn't have been fun! I aimed to try and parry most of his follow-ups as best as I could. Rolling backwards immediately after landing a parry spaced you enough to dodge and react to most of his follow-ups. Immediately rolling is meant to save you on the one attack at 00:58 that comes out too quickly to reliably read and punish. The combo after that has several moments where you can parry, but you have to be clairvoyant to know that THAT specific attack is coming and not his other 3 follow-ups, so I opted to let that one pass whenever it came up.
