I did something a bit stupid… some might say. I purposely bought a BIOS-locked ThinkPad T460s off eBay for just 75 euros. It looked like a steal 6th Gen Intel i5, 20GB of RAM, and a 500GB SSD already running Windows 11 but there was one big catch: the BIOS was completely locked. In this video, I try to unlock and restore it using a CH341A programmer Things didn’t exactly go smoothly… there were a few black screens, a few close calls, and maybe one or two moments of panic. Still, it was a fun learning experience and I wanted to share the full story with you.
