Episode Summary: Cordelia Cupp (Uzo Aduba) receives a tip from Vusi (Jesse Williams), a White House superfan staying across the street, who claims he saw a strange light in Room 301 the night of Wynter’s death. This sends her investigation to the third floor, where suspicion circles Tripp Morgan (Jason Lee), the President’s unpredictable brother, Nan Cox (Susan Kelechi Watson), and presidential adviser Harry Hollinger (Michael Park). Nan overheard Wynter arguing with Tripp over a stash of stolen goods, while Tripp insists he never left his room—until his smartwatch gives away his lie. Meanwhile, engineer Bruce Geller (Evan Shafran) and Tripp point fingers at each other over rumors about Wynter. As Cupp digs deeper, Hollinger emerges as a potential suspect when it’s revealed Wynter may have overheard something he shouldn’t have. With layers of deceit and dark humor, the episode keeps us guessing who had the most to lose—and gain—from Wynter’s demise.
