Ladder Lane, Swindon Walk

The walk starts from the carpark on Pipers Way opposite Nationwide HQ and follows a path through the woods and parallel to the M4 Motorway. We then cross the motorway, follow the path along the side of a field, before entering the woods. The path then runs beside the boundary of the Burderop Estate and climbs steadily at first and then more steeply until finally emerging on B4005 road at the top of Brimble Hill above Wroughton. If you are considering attempting this walk, please be aware that it is quite strenuous and the path is uneven and can become overgrown, and at times very muddy.
