O-SEGAKI: Ceremony of Feeding the Hungry Ghosts

Right around Halloween every year, Buddha Eye Temple observes the very lively and ancient ceremony of Feeding the Hungry Ghosts. We will hold Sunday morning Zazen as usual, which will be followed by a brief Dharma Talk by our Abbott. The ceremony itself includes chanting and an opportunity for all to participate in making offerings of incense. The morning will conclude with a festive lunch prepared by the temple. Sunday assemblies are our most regular large gatherings.
