This is a rare performance of She'd Rather Be With Me by the Turtles on Top of the Pops, which has lead singer Howard Kaylan singing live vocals to the original song's instrumental. The original master tape of this performance was wiped along with hundreds of other TOTP episodes. However, a video recording of this performance was discovered in the collection of Bill Harrison, along with other performances by Pink Floyd, Procol Harlem and Dave Davies. The tape was badly damaged and features constant rolling. I've tried to accurately sync the original song to this performance by fixing the constant speed fluctuation on the tape. I've also used AI to restore Howard Kaylan's live vocals, although some parts still have the original song's vocals due to tape damage.
