Amid today’s complex research & sociopolitical landscape, continuing to advance & sustain LGBTQIA+ psychological research could not be more important. This event brought together psychologists, researchers, students, mental health professionals, and allies to explore the current state of LGBTQIA+ psychological research, inclusive and affirming research practices, and how to sustain both the work itself and the people doing it. Led by a panel of experts in the field, we facilitated conversations around building supportive research communities, navigating identity in research, building trust with communities, and fostering resilience and finding joy in this work during uncertainty. The APF Franklyn Springfield Awareness Fund is dedicated to funding efforts to disseminate information to combat stigma and discrimination against the LGBTQIA+ Community.
