I've rounded up the key trends for Autumn 2022 and the sewing patterns and dressmaking fabrics you could use to recreate the looks. I am so excited to bring you this video, I always feel so inspired and excited to get sewing myself when I research these videos. I love seeing all the new trends and immediately sewing patterns and dressmaking fabrics pop into my head we could all use to recreate the looks and I can't wait to sew them myself and share them with you. There are some really fresh new looks this season including leather look skirts, preppy style skirts, jackets, shift dresses, more fitted silhouette midi and maxi length dresses all of which are based on a slimmer fit than we've been used to in recent seasons. I'm also loving the statement collar blouses, check shirts with a twist and the loose fit mini dresses I spotted. The dressmaking fabrics I've picked out ooze Autumnal vibes including Robert Kauffman super soft cotton flannels, brushed cotton check shirtings, pretty dark florals and more.
