The Farouche Agrotourism Site: A Unique Retreat in Quebec's Laurentians. Situated in the picturesque Devil’s River valley against the backdrop of Mont-Tremblant National Park, the Farouche agrotourism site presents an innovative concept within the Quebec region. Spanning nearly one hundred acres of untamed terrain, the project seamlessly integrates a Nordic farm, a café-bar, four-season micro-refuges, and an outdoor basecamp. On one side of Chemin du Lac-Supérieur, a barn serves as the hub for agricultural activities, while a tunnel of greenhouses, flower fields, and fallow land leads to the organic vegetable farm. Hiking trails from the farm provide access to the mountains of Devil’s valley. On the riverside, a café at the heart of the site welcomes visitors with seasonal produce, local cheeses, beers, and wines. The café offers stunning views of Mont-Tremblant and the Laurentian mountains through large west-facing windows. The cathedral-roofed building also includes a mezzanine for quiet reflection. The adjacent cedar shingle micro-cabins blend into the landscape, providing guests with a minimalist escape to immerse themselves in the serene beauty of the Devil’s River.
