This is a Regula Movement and a Albert Schwab Karlsruhe Cuckoo Clock. The man chopping wood while the cuckoo bird sings. We have dancers that dance while the water wheel spins. A few loose parts on the case that we had to glue in place and I wax the clock with Howard's Wax and Conditioner just to help make the clock look new again. Follow along to understand how the movement works while I take it apart, clean the parts and put the movement back together. You can contact me at email: [email protected] Here I do most of my work on clocks. Mainly cuckoo clocks, yet I am always looking for the unusual and eye catching clocks. Some of the clocks I get into are ones that need saved from the dump. They fell off the wall from not securing the clock to the wall using the stud behind the sheetrock. Some of the clocks were laid to rest out in the garage or barn and I except the challenge of getting them back together again. A well loved clock at one time is one that has a lot of wear and you find old bushings that might need to be replaced.
