Essentially a box on wheels, the Transporter is outfitted with a swappable cargo pod that can hold up to 2,000 lbs of goods in its adjustable shelves. They have been designed to carry “nearly anything from convenience goods, e-commerce packages and groceries to auto parts, electronics, and medical supplies.” The autonomous vehicle drives to a customer’s home or business and then they can use the Udelv app to retrieve their items. Thanks to a series of sliding doors, users will only be able to retrieve their items while the rest of the cargo remains secure.
