Julia Bramante- Cannabis & Professionalism Meet at the World's Largest Scientific Society

February Journal club we have our incredible Chairwoman Julia Bramante revealing the advances of CANN within the largest scientific society; latest advances in other societies and organizations to drive legitimacy and scientific developments in cannabis. Julia Bramante is the Chair of the Cannabis Chemistry Subdivision at the American Chemical Society, a position she has held since January 2019. She also serves as Lead Scientist at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment’s Marijuana Reference Laboratory. Prior to entering that role Julia was instrumental to the success of Gobi Labs, one of the first three certified marijuana testing labs to open in Colorado following recreational legalization in 2014. Additionally, she serves as Chair of the CASP Microbial Contaminants Working Group at AOAC International. CANN’s Journal Club is the only international cannabis chemistry webinar of its kind. Journal club focuses on recent peer reviewed publications in the cannabis science space and is open to the public free of charge. Presentations are often made by publication authors themselves. This provides an excellent opportunity for audience members to learn from and interact with leading cannabis scientists.
