Dina De Giorgio has 30-plus years of experience handling divorces and other family law matters. Prior to joining Abrams Fensterman, she had her own boutique law practice focusing on representing clients in Nassau and Suffolk County. Dina is a tenacious advocate and a pragmatic problem solver for her clients both inside and outside the courtroom. Clients choose her to be their lawyer because she is solution-based, keeps her focus on their objectives, and attempts to avoid protracted and unnecessary litigation. She combines her extensive knowledge of the law and experience as a litigator with her training as a mediator to help craft innovative approaches and solutions to bring the parties to resolution without the cost, time, and emotional toll of lengthy litigation. Dina is a member of the matrimonial committees of the Nassau County Bar Association, the Family Law Section of the New York State Bar Association, the New York State Council on Divorce Mediation, and the National Association of Divorce Professionals (NADP). She is a Board member of the Art Guild, a not-for-profit organization located in Port Washington, New York. In March 2023, Dina, as a partner at another distinguished law firm, was recognized as a top provider of pro bono legal services in Nassau County. In 2023, the Long Island Business News included Dina among their Leadership in Law recipients and in 2024 recognized her as an Influencer in the Law. Dina served as Councilwoman in the Town of North Hempstead from 2012 to 2019. During her tenure, she was an integral part of several projects in her community including the development of Alvan Petrus Park in Port Washington, the restoration of the historic Mill Pond Boathouse and the “Annual Row for Autism” which is charity event that continues to take place in North Hempstead Beach Park. In 2024, TONH Supervisor Jen De Sena and the Town Board appointed Dina to serve as a Commissioner on the Landmark’s Preservation Committee and appointed by Councilman Edward Scott to the Legacy Committee.
