MAMIL Cycling : London to Paris in 24 Hours

MAMIL Cycling : London to Paris in 24 Hours On the 5th May 2018 I, along with 150 other cyclists, rode from London to Paris in 24 Hours as part of the London to Paris Sportive cycle ride organised by Sophie Radcliffe (ChallengeSophie). As cycling events go it's right up there for experiences. This video was taken using a handheld GoPro Session 4 and a Handlebar mounted GoPro Black 5, and I hope gives a little taste of what it is like to cycle from London to Paris in 24 Hours. The ride started at 3.00pm on the Saturday in Blackheath, London and headed for Newhaven where we got the Ferry to Dieppe and then followed the river Seine down towards Paris where we arrived at 2.50pm on Sunday 6th. 22 Hours and 50 minutes after heading off from London. We had incredible weather which really helped and the support and camaraderie of the riders really helped get everyone over the finish line. If you are into road cycling and you have London to Paris on your bucket list then you could do a lot worse than checking out this bike ride. It is fantastically well organised and a lot of fun.
