She had had outlived many UK prime ministers and US presidents she had met in 70 years of being queen and was a World War Two veteran and mother of four and taught all her children how to drive as she was a mechanic during the war. She celebrated her platinum jubilee earlier this year and her husband Prince Philip died last year (they were married from 1947 - 2021). She witnessed the ending of the world's largest empire (the British Empire) and saw and was head of the newly formed Commonwealth.
