this week soap, the new to be released on the 1st July 2019, TERROR. The name is inspired by HMS TERROR, a British war ship who participated to the war of 1812 between the US and the British Empire. In the mid 1830, TERROR was refitted as an arctic exploration vessel. After a few expeditions in the canadian north, TERROR as well as EREBUS disappeared in August 1845. The Canadian Park services rediscovered the wreck of TERROR with the help of local Inuits in 2016. TERROR is in excellent condition in 80ft of water at the bottom of Terror Bay. The British government has claimed a few artifact and any remains of sailors to give the owner ship of TERROR to the Canada and the Inuit nation of Nunavut. As part of the Canadian Park Service, TERROR keeps guard of Terror Bay from his frigid watery grave... Now, the soap is made in the Excelsior base. Here are the ingredients: Aqua, Glycerin, Potassium Stearate, Potassium Tallowate, Sodium Stearate, Fragrance, Sodium Tallowate, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Milk, Potassium Kokum Butterate, Methyl Gluceth-10, Xanthan Gum, Sucrose Cocoate, Potassium Ricinoleate, Sodium Kokum Butterate, Allantoin, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Lanolin, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Oil, Sodium Lauroyl Oat Amino Acids, Fragrance, Sodium Ricinoleate, Tetrasodium EDTA, Tocopheryl Acetate. Now, the really interesting fact about this soap is the use of a synthetic menthol. This menthol has no menthol scent, giving the opportunity to have a real scent for this soap. Will describe the scent as the scent of ice. The scent is mild and refreshing with touches of peppermint, tea tree oil and a slight touch of petrichor in the background. The synthetic menthol offers a good cooling punch (not as painful as the super mentholated soaps) that last for up to 3 hours on my skin when used with the matching After-shave. For the consumer who do not like the watery eyes from strong menthol use, you will be happy, there is none of that, only a great cooling effect. Again, B&M gave us a great soap I highly recommend.
