SOUNDBITE (Malayalam): Biju Varghese, Innovator: "One day I happened to see a programme about the aircraft of the US president on National Geographic Channel. What fascinated me was the easy manner with which the pilot was turning a small lever and manoeuvring a giant machine like an aircraft. This inspired me to see if something like this could be attempted in a small car. I made several efforts and after repeated trials and errors finally succeeded in developing a kit for disabled people. Now it is easy to drive and I have manufactured several kits since then." 10.
