89-key G4 Gavioli & Cie Fairground Organ plays the 1967 hit strangely titled "I Was Kaiser Bill’s Batman" by British songwriters Roger Cook and Roger Greenaway, originally performed by Whistling Jack Smith. This magnificent Gavioli organ, Seriel No. 9085, plays today exactly as it would have done in 1905, using perforated cardboard read by an pneumatic action controlling air to the 400 pipes. There is also automatic percussion, and a 17 note glockenspiel. The organ was installed in James Day's 3-abreast Gallopers in 1920, and was in showmans use with the ride until 1984. Previously owned by Chris Dobbs, I aquired the instrument in April 2021. Please see www.jollity.org if you are interested in hiring for your special events across England and Wales. If you're enjoying the music and wish to tip me towards the organ's maintenance and help fund new music for future videos, you can do so at: www.paypal.com/paypalme/jollity
