Organized by the Spirits of July platform, the concert, titled Echoes of Revolution, will take place on December 21 at Dhaka's Army Stadium. Proceeds from the event will be used to support the families of the injured and deceased and for their rehabilitation.The organizers shared this information during a press conference held at Dhaka University's Madhur Canteen on Friday, November 29. Student representatives and organization members Hasan Mahmud Rizvi, Sadekur Rahman Sani, Md. Zafar Ali, and Wahid-uz-Zaman delivered the statement.They announced that the proceeds will be distributed to the families through the Shahid July Smriti Foundation. A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has already been signed between Spirits of July and the foundation. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has committed to performing without any fees, with an agreement signed on November 28 to confirm his participation.Additionally, popular local bands like Artcell, Chirkutt, Ashes, and Aftermath, along with rappers Sezan and Hannan, will perform at the event for nominal fees.Apart from musical performances, the concert will also feature a graffiti exhibition on the July Revolution, stage plays, and a special event corner, according to the organizers. Proceeds from the event aim to honor the legacy of the uprising while providing tangible support to affected families.
