It glides very nicely on the hook. The fiber content is 72% cotton / 28% nylon ~ Michaels & JoAnn both carry it. *** Corrections for Crochet! magazine p. 49 ~ Farmers Market Bag: 1) Rnd 5: after you do the mesh st 30 times, where it says, [dc in the next dc, ch1] twice....you work that twice into the SAME stitch. 2) Rnd 9: in the section where it says to, [dc in next ch sp, ch 1, skip next dc]...there should be another ch 1, after this last dc. 3) Special notation: When the cross st row is worked AFTER the 5-dc pc (5-dc popcorn st) row, I found that each pc was referred to as a dc in the cross st pattern. So just be mindful of that when you come to the popcorn (pc) stitches, and look carefully at the photo to see where the placement of the cross st is supposed to be, and how it encases/frames the pc st. (So you know you're on the right track.) Studying the photo helped me a lot in figuring it out. And I hope this helps you and makes sense, in addition to how I explained it in this video. p.13 ~ Decorative Baskets, also in the magazine: All Sizes Rnd 4 [5,6] ~ I did not ch 1 & turn. Instead, I did a ch1 and continued on with the pattern, working in the round. That is how it worked out best for me. Other than that it's an easy and fun little pattern that works up fast. As mentioned, I finished the last round with a sl st (in both loops) around, which helps retain the shape.
