In this video I break down the Quasar Synchron — a top master duel deck that you can use to climb the ladder in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel. I’ll show the full yugioh deck profile, key combo deck yugioh lines, matchup tips, and why this might be the master duel best deck in the current master duel meta. One board, three Quasars — welcome to the nastiest Synchro comeback you’ll ever see! Get ready — I’m breaking down a compact, beginner-friendly Quasar/Synchron deck for Master Duel: clean build, real combos, and a spicy tech or two so you can actually pull off Shooting/Cosmic/Quasar plays in 2025 ranked. Watch for the end-game lines and a unique recovery strat that turns small midgame wins into a full Quasar finish. Key cards Junk Speeder — When Synchro Summoned: you can Special Summon as many “Synchron” Tuners with different Levels from your Deck in Defense Position; the turn you use that effect you can’t Extra Summon except Synchro monsters. Celestial Double Star Shaman — When Synchro Summoned: you can Special Summon up to four Level-2 non-Tuner monsters from your hand and/or GY in Defense Position (their effects are negated); after using it you’re restricted to Synchro Extra Summons that turn. Assault Blackwing — Sohaya the Rain Storm — If Synchro Summoned using a “Blackwing” as material, this card is treated as a Tuner on the field; when Synchro Summoned you can Special Summon an “Assault Blackwing” from your GY (and it has a GY-revival clause for itself). Great as a level-manipulating Synchro extender. Easy example combo (beginner-friendly, step-by-step) Open: a small Synchron engine + any Level 2/3 fodder (e.g., Jet/Quickdraw-style starter or small normals). Make a Junk Speeder Synchro (use your Synchron tuner + non-tuners). Activate its effect to pull multiple different-level “Synchron” Tuners from deck — that instantly gives you 2–3 tuner pieces in Defense Position. Use those summoned Tuners + existing monsters to Synchro into a mid-level Synchro (e.g., Celestial Double Star Shaman) to flood the field with Level-2s for immediate Synchro material. Convert those Level-2s into two or more Synchro monsters whose combined levels allow you to Synchro Summon Shooting Quasar Dragon (or Cosmic/Quasar chain). Finish by using Quasar’s multi-attack/negate utility. (If you used Sohaya earlier, it doubles as a tuner and gives extra GY recursion to keep your chain going.) Unique strategy / tech Flood-and-Convert: use Celestial Double Star Shaman as an intentional flood play — summon four Level-2s (even with effects negated) to convert into multiple Synchro plays in the same turn; it’s low-variance fodder for multi-Synchro lines. Recovery loop with Junk Speeder + Sohaya: Junk Speeder dumps/ summons Synchron tuners and Sohaya provides tuner treatment + grave recursion — combine them to rebuild after a board wipe and loop into another Quasar attempt. This makes the deck resilient versus single-target removal. Is this still strong in the 2025 meta? Quasar/Synchro lists remain a viable niche: they’re powerful in long combo games and show up in Synchro-focused playlists and event reports, but they aren’t top-tier ladder staples against the most popular 2025 archetypes (Tenpai, Snake-Eye, Crystron/Maliss variants dominate top events). Quasar decks are playstyle-dependent — excellent as an off-meta spike or tournament surprise, but less consistent vs. hyper-fast OTK/lock strategies. Conclusion (call to action) If you love Synchro puzzles and building multi-step combos, this Quasar/Synchron list is insanely fun and can steal games through resilience and massive finishers. Use Junk Speeder and Celestial Shaman as your combo engines, Sohaya as a plug-in tuner/recursion tech, and practice the simple conversion shown above.
