'Qui cantat bis orat' by Aidan MacLean | Choral Postcards 2021

In July 2021, a group of aspiring composers age 15-18 had the opportunity to work remotely with professional composers and singers to create their own Choral Postcards—short pieces of music written for four-part choir. 'Qui cantat bis orat' is a miniature composed by Choral Postcards participant Aidan MacLean, a setting of latin text commonly attributed to St. Augustine meaning 'He who sings, prays twice', performed here by singers from Chamber Choir Ireland.
