First Impressions of Novi Sad | Petrovaradin Fortress, Srremski Karlovci, Krusedol Monastery

We made it to Novi Sad, Serbia and explored the Petrovaradin Fortress and the Old Town. Here's our first impressions of Novi Sad. As part of our Northern Serbia day trip from Belgrade, we went to the Krusedol Monastery, Sremski Karlovci before making our way to Novi Sad and the Petrovaradin Fortress. We loved the Krusedol monastery which is at the southern slopes of Fruska Gora, near the town of Irig. Srremski Karlovci holds a treasury of rich Serbian culture and we had an insane parking adventure here. Petrovaradin was great too, not just for the views but to feel the adventures and the rush during the strategic wars during the Austro Hingarian and Ottoman Empires here. We went to Serbia in mid May 2023 to explore the country, driving to various towns and cities through national parks.
