[LONG CAPTION] but worth the read. I will always be grateful for my corporate jobs. They provided money when I needed it most, taught me invaluable personal and professional skills as well as allowed me to meet some really amazing people. HOWEVER!!! staying in a corporate job for the rest of my life just wasn't for me. When I reflect on the entire journey, I can see instances that sparked this realisation but it wasn't until recently that I decided to take the plunge and be a freelance writer. I was writing part-time for a few years so I knew it was something I loved doing and could get paid for but I never thought it was sustainable full-time. Many opportunities, supportive friends and family, rell prayers and anxiety, my life coach and ultimately taking a chance on myself got me here. As a multipotentialite, I thought maybe this was another passing cloud and crazy itch to try something else. But once I realised how badly I needed to get out it was like I couldn't do or think of anything else. It doesn't have to be job-related but I hope this video motivates you to take the necessary steps to build the life that you want. It takes a lot of hard work and even if you fail it's at least worth a try but you have to start. As it turns out, I love it here. The autonomy and flexibility are incomparable. Who knows where this will take me or where I'll be in 5 years but I'm taking it one step at a time so...
