It is located in Al Samriya Estate, Al Shahaniya , about 20 km from Education City up Dukhan Highway. It is a privately owned museum located in the municipality of Al Shahaniya in Qatar which is one of the biggest private museums in the world is worth a visit with lot of things to enjoy. Encompassing an area of 530,000m², the three-building museum was opened in 1998 by Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani. Sheikh Faisal who is the founder of the Museum is one of the Middle East's most prominent business leaders who had the dedication and passion in collecting art and artifacts of global importance. 🔸You have to show your Qatar ID or passport at the first vehicle entrance. 🔸Entrance Fee for Museum is QAR 50 for Adults QAR 30 for 13-22 years Free under 12 years old The Museum has a lot of sections having weaponry, cars, textiles, architectural exhibits, ceramics, fossils, clothes, jewelry, Dhows, carpets, paintings, sculptures, Camel and horse artefacts, Quran Room, Syrian House, Qatari House, Egyptian Room, World religions room, Medicine Room (First Hospital of Qatar) Islamic Art, Museum Cafe, Museum Shop and much much more! Staff everywhere are very friendly and helpful. There are also beautiful stables, Riding School to visit, an Oryx Sanctuary and Date Farms in this Estate.
