I had a really scary experience whilst flying from Changsha to Hong Kong and then to Taipei and back to Hong Kong. If the video doesn't make it clear enough, I'll lay out what exactly happened here. Once I accepted this, they realised it was company policy to not abandon bags and so had to check it all the way through. As I was boarding the plane, the lady told me it had only been checked to HK and that I had effectively been rebooked for the final section. Therefore, my bag was essentially abandoned in Hong Kong as I flew to Taipei and back!! Luckily there was a happy ending.
