Ableton Push 3 is an instrument!

The headline feature of Ableton Push 3 is those expressive MPE pads. MPE stands for MIDI Polyphonic Expression and means you can really play the pads as if it's an instrument, along with pitch glide, polyphonic aftertouch and other features. The jam could easily have been done in standalone though, it was more of a convenience decision so we could see on the computer screen that things recorded properly.
