Here is poem ಆಹ್ವಾನ- AHVAANA by the immortal poet Dr G.S.Shivarudrappa where he wonders whether the festival of lights 'Deepavali' would be able to completely wash away the DARKNESS (DIRT )inside us. He soulfully invites the *LIGHT OF LIGHTS *- -opening up a kaleidoscopic brightness in the definition of light.... ..... THAT, which is the luminence itself, which has the speed of travelling beyond - leaving the stars as footprints. ...... ...THAT which can kindle life & which is the fountainhead of creation. He recognises that cosmic Light of Lights in the innocent smile of babies cuddled with mother's love & ...in the smiles & tears of the universally loving hearts. Ultimately, THAT LIGHT which is continuously looking for upliftment of entire humanity. That light, he humbly invites to his heart& to blossom within & radiate.
