Dashing Through LA: Mt. Wilson - Driving Up

The Mount Wilson Road — an offshoot of the Angeles Crest Highway — is no joke. In the span of 19 miles, the road goes from about 1,400 feet above sea level to more than 5,600. Ending at the historic Mount Wilson Observatory, founded in 1904, the Mount Wilson Road hugs tight curves, leaving one side of the road touching torn-away granite and the other side of the road staring off into the abyss of a steep canyon. This drive is NOT for the faint of heart. This is the view going UP the road from La Cañada Flintridge to the observatory. Where should we drive next?
