Hoppecke Battery Failure after just 2 years. We invested more than 160 000 euros in Hoppecke batteries. The Hoppecke batteries were professionally installed in an environment that is Air-Conditioned and meets Manufacturer Standards. The batteries have never been discharged below 70% and they cycle just once a day. Despite this, the batteries first showed signs of failure at year 2 and within months the degradation of the batteries were really very material. Hoppecke visited the installation site and concluded that the installation was of extremely high quality and standard but they were unable to explain the FAILURE of their product. In the marketing presentations made by Hoppecke, their people claim their batteries last approximately 10 years. FALSE..! To have a failure at year 2 only makes the whole investment completely uneconomic. Hoppecke offered a small discount should we wish to buy a new set of batteries from them. Quite ridiculous after their claim of a 10 year life failed after 2 years.!!!
