Why can I never get the same results that I get from ChromOx? I do not know. Diamonds are finicky in my hands. They are expensive, and just not worth the hassle. There are other options available, that I get better results from. I found the grind-ability of 15v, on SIC, to be fantastic. There were no difficulties, that I ran across, that were not from my own making. The steel responded very well to the stones, and produced a burr, with limited grinding. 2500 is not optimal for polishing, but the final result was decent. The apex came out very sharp, and in my short experience, should maintain, for quite some time. This knife performed admirably in my work duties. Slicing jacketed cable, heat shrink, trimming dielectric from coaxial. It did not take chips and kept a high level of sharpness for the duration. Maxamet impressed me highly in this environment, and from I have seen, 15v has done even better. I will have to find myself a model, in this steel, soon!
