In this video, I take you through my recent trip to the Birmingham Bonsai Boot Sale and share all the fantastic finds I picked up! From bonsai pots to trees in need of some TLC, there were plenty of treasures. I’ll be showing you my purchases, which included: 3 Bonsai Pots for some upcoming projects A Large Larch Tree that needs some serious attention – I’ll be doing a full video on this one soon, as the roots and branches need work, and the tree’s branch structure was a bit of a mess with lots of crossing! It’s clear this tree was unloved, but it has a lot of potential with a bit of care. 2 Small Japanese Larch Trees from Andy at “Tree in a Pot” for just £10 – a great deal! A Huge Pyracantha for £40, which has quickly become my favourite tree in the collection – the potential is amazing! 2 Mugo Pines for £30 – I even got one of them for free from a really kind gentleman I met at the sale when I purchased the other! I talk about how these are incredible bargains and why the Birmingham Bonsai Boot Sale is such a great place to find affordable and interesting bonsai trees and supplies.
