Weekday evening rush-hour drive through Midtown Manhattan. We start on 2nd Avenue at 60th Street on the East Side, turn west onto 57th Street, and crawl through Midtown traffic all the way to 11th Avenue. From there we head south to 40th Street, squeeze back east through Midtown, then turn north on 3rd Avenue and ride back up the East Side to finish the loop. The drive captures the city shifting from bright late afternoon into sunset and blue hour: office windows light up, streetlights flick on, and lines of headlights and taillights slowly take over the frame.
