This project in Farmington, Connecticut focused on clearing years of overgrown brush and accumulated deadfall that had built up throughout this section of forest. Over time, saplings, tangled undergrowth, and fallen timber had taken over the area, making it difficult to navigate and manage. The goal wasn’t land clearing — it was restoration. Thinning dense growth, breaking down brush, and organizing larger logs to bring structure and long-term usability back to the woods. Snow on the ground adds another layer of difficulty, but the process remains the same: methodical reduction of overgrowth and controlled handling of heavy material. All footage is time-lapse, capturing the full transformation from cluttered and overgrown to open and manageable. All work was completed using a Kubota KX040 excavator equipped with an Indeco IMH4 forestry mulcher. No rush. Just steady winter cleanup and reclaiming ground that had been overgrown for years. Based out of Barkhamsted CT, we are family owned and operated. We specialize in Forestry Mulching but also offer excavation services and more to Northwestern/Central CT.
