Turns out I can't stop DIY-ing. Immediately after I did the TLR I started work on this rangefinder. I was using my left over parts from the TLR to start things off and I pre-emptively ordered a Soviet Era FED 5c film rangefinder. The result was this, I admit it's not nearly as nice as other DIY RF projects, but it's cheaper! That's worth something right? That said, I will say this project was done entirely using just home gamer hardware, I printed everything on an older Creality V2, I didn't use any print houses or have to make any custom CNC parts.
