It's also known as "Schizophrenia," so when Gaspar Noe speaks of "Schizophrenia," he's speaking about this film. Do you believe that Angst is extreme enough to have warranted so much censorship and banning? Personally, I've seen films that are far worse. I think that it could have done a lot better if the budget had been higher and they could have had a team pushing for a worldwide release, but the European bans definitely crippled the film before it could even find its footing. Still, I'm glad that it managed to survive all these years and we can watch it today. Also, there are certain shots that are crucial to discussing the film that I couldn't put here because of Youtube's policies. The uncensored version is on Patreon if you want to see it, but the content is the same, so you don't have to watch that version.
