this will show you on rebug, how to go from CEX to DEX and back very easily. Jailbroke ps3's ONLY obviously. Confirmed on rebug 4.78.1 to 4.84.1 instructions: important: before starting, if you made any changes in the debug settings menu switch them back before converting. Make sure not to have game disc in system, make sure not to be signed in to psn. In toolbox make sure system mode is set to normal NOT rebug. Turn off/disable any spoofers! Go to rebug toolbox 1. While in CEX mode enable QA toggle 2. Select - Dump eid root key, press yes, after several seconds you will hear some beeps then it will reboot 3. back in toolbox- Select "rewrite target id in Flash, it will find eid root key, press yes and quickly it goes back to toolbox 4. Now choose "swap LV2 Kernel" , it will say it sucessfully swapped to DEX press OK then OK again to reboot 5. You are now on dex, go into tool box and see system information to confirm. 6. this is OPtIONAL - in tool box, change debug menu to dex, no reboot is needed. while in DEX mode NEVER move QA toggle! whatever position its in leave it alone to go back to cex: 1. change debug menu back to CEX QA if its on dex 2. Make sure Rebug mode is set to NORMAL 3. Dump EID Root key 4. Rewrite target ID (Lv2 kernel switches automatically) check system info, Lv2 Kernel and target ID should now be cex
