It was all sunshine and good vibes at Stevens Institute of Technology’s 152nd Commencement Ceremonies, held at the PNC Bank Arts Center on May 22, 2024. YouTuber and professional ultimate frisbee player Marques Brownlee '15, a Stevens alum known professionally as @mkbhd, served as the undergraduate Commencement speaker and stressed the power of purpose: “Making a dent in the universe is much easier when it's something you care about.” Noted scientist, entrepreneur and fellow alumnus Michael Kakos MMS ’71 addressed the graduate Class of 2024 and noted he was "convinced that you will make an impact on a more just and peaceful world." Approximately 3,336 undergraduate and graduate students will receive their Stevens credentials this month, making it one of the largest graduating classes in Stevens’ 154-year history.
