A big welcome to Theresa from Bom Bakeshop in Austin, TX! This is our first ever guest episode on Gong Fu Tea|chA, and we're so excited to have Theresa on the show to talk with So-Han about the Flavors (味, wèi), Fragrances (香, xiāng), and Feelings (气, qì) of tea. This episode is partially a vocabulary exploration, seeking to provide some examples of vocabulary we might use to describe these flavors, fragrances, and feelings. Being able to describe our sensations helps us broaden and deepen our understanding and set of associations in our tea practice. So-Han and Theresa go through a flight of tea--a green tea, a white tea, an oolong, and a Pu'er--to take a look at the wide range of flavors, fragrances, and feelings one can access in the world of tea.
