Welcome to this weeks video in which we continue the mini series Mastering in Studio One 5. Studio One 5 has recently been released and I thought i'd show you how I use the stock plugins and functions to really enhance a song to create a great sounding Master. One of Studio One's strengths is the ability to apply Mid-Side processing to any Master Track, using any plugin you wish with the availability of the Splitter Tool. In this video I walk you through the process of how to set the Splitter Tool up so you can apply M/S processing to your tracks using any of your favourite plugins. I walk you through the simple process and how we can use the drag and drop functionality to make this process as easy as possible. If you like this video please don't forget to give it a thumbs up and if you want to know more about Digital Mastering then don't forget to hit that subscribe button! The Intro Music featured as always is: https://www.bensound.com/ And the song I used to Master was: Empty Bottle Blues by Nik Graveswell https://open.spotify.com/track/7MwcHo... Nik is a super talented musician from the South East of England and if you like Hard style Blues Rock then be sure to check him out. It was an absolute pleasure Mastering the EP 'Songs To Drink To' and I would really appreciate it if you could show Nik some love by visiting his facebook and Instagram pages: / nikgraveswell / nikgraveswell Nik has kindly agreed to let me showcase his songs in our videos so a big thanks to Nik for your support.
