Meditation and breathwork gave me my power back. It has allowed me to focus, heal my body, and unlock the deep creativity that so badly desired to be born from the depths of my soul. As a music producer and DJ for over a decade, like many artists, I placed my passions over my health. So many of us think the two are separate, when rather than being two unified pieces of a greater whole in regards to performance in life. Just as they say on airplanes to put your own oxygen mask before assisting others, we need to prioritize self-care in our lives to keep our vessels full and vibrant with energy. Over the years, I’ve taken my love for bass music and begun to incorporate personal guided meditations over my tracks. It has taken years before I could begin sharing this side of me with you all. It is a vulnerable place to be in when you’ve spent the past decade sharing limited aspects of one’s self. I am deeply honored to walk this path with you. Thank you for participating in this healing practice with me. It is sacred and it is yours to access whenever you need it. This breathing method is inspired by @WimHof, which utilizes a specific pranayama that he adopted from a yogic breathing technique originating centuries ago in India. This is my daily practice. I share it with you in hopes that you use it to tap into your own reservoir of life force energy.
