The Basics- Pin Waves: 1910's/20's No-heat hair waving technique

I came across this technique in a publication from ca. 1912. This was my first attempt trying it, but I was pleased with how it turned out. I love that there is no heat involved, so you don't need to worry about heat-damage. It also is relatively simple to do. The only problem with this method is that the waves can be a bit unpredictable. As mentioned in the video, you will need hair pins not bobby pins. They are more flexible and the ends can be bent to keep the curl from falling off the pin. Songs: My Sweetie Went Away - Billy Murray Mandy and Me - Billy Murray UPDATE: Sorry everyone.
