Year of the Demons Episode VII The Sect Year of the Demons is Mr. Mayhem Movies' second yearly film review series that covers the Italian horror franchise Demons. The Demons movies are full of tangently related sequels and follows a loose continuity at best. This review series will run throughout the entirety of 2021, with a total of twelve videos covering classics from some of Italy's most notorious horror directors. Episode VII cover Michele Soavi's The Sect, also known as The Devik's Daughter (or, you guessed it, Demons 4). Released in 1991, this film centers not on demons but instead a cult hellbent on birthing the Antichrist. Some solid effects are used throughout to help enhance the dream-like imagery on the screen.
