The Citizen Project: Affordable and Accessible Dentistry

Meet Dr. Kenneth Wright. He is helping establish a new community-based dental clinic in London, Ontario to address the need for accessible and affordable dental care.    More than six million Canadians avoid the dentist each year due to financial constraints. The Wright Clinic will serve about 1,000 patients annually in the London region. This outreach clinic is possible because of the support of collaborators from Schulich Medicine & Dentistry, the London and District Dental Society, Fanshawe College’s Dental Hygiene Program, the Middlesex-London Health Unit, the London InterCommunity Health Centre and other local social agencies.   Community is part of the fabric of the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry at Western University.
