I recently put out a video of the new "silent compressor" I'm trying out. It was a cost effective alternative, which was also plug and play. Now, I've heard about these compressors for years now and decided to see if it can support my Air Atomizing Outdoor Aeroponics garden. Now, if you want to see what my set up is like then click on this link below : • California Air Tool Silent Compressor Revi... I came across this video by chance because it showed up on my feed. It would have been nice to see this video before I made my purchase. There is a lot of good information regarding this California Air Tool Compressor and their build quality. Points of concern I have with this compressor is not only because its a short stroke motor but, because of the big bore piston. What they didn't really get into or showcase is the valve system. Not being able to see the valve opening... size, and location as well as seeing how the head is assembled leaves a lot of questions. Also, not knowing the torque of the motor and knowing how many winding for the stater or the gauge of the wire used are all factors as to how well this unit will perform. What I do know is that they published the specifications of the cfm for up to 40 psi and after 41 psi, which there is a significant loss. Knowing that and seeing the size of the piston they use makes me speculate that the motor isn't all that torque oriented. Anyways, I hope this information is somehow helpful to you! Cheers!
