Making a Double Zipper with Zipper by the Yard
I’m working on a new pattern with a double zipper so I thought I’d share some (highly requested) tips for making one from our zipper by the yard! 1. Add your first pull and don’t worry about any of the unevenness on ends. Remember: use the side with two openings, add zipper tape a little on each side and set on hard surface to zip. 2. On opposite end trim zipper tape even. 3. Repeat process being more cautious to keep tape even so there’s no bubble. I use this little trick of “pinching” the tape together to test before adding the pull. This second one make take a few tries! 4. Most important tip: be patient! 😊 Hope these tips help!
