Eulalie is all about heartfelt harmonies...vintage heart songs, fiddle tunes, old-time hymns and ballads. True blue. http://www.eulalie.co "Peachbottom Creek" is from the playing of Wade Ward of the Independence, Virginia area. Wade Ward apparently learned it from his older brother Crockett, and since he could not recall the original title, he named it after the creek that ran through his farm. The original title was "Sapsucker pecking on a long-leaf pine." "Reuben's train" is a well-known song, long favored by banjo players and string bands, and from the recording by G. B. Grayson, an itinerant fiddler and singer from the North Carolina-Tennessee border region, active in the late 1920s. Our version owes a nod to the late Doc Watson.
