Final video for the Swedish metric shaft. This episode I mill the needed keyways in the shaft. I'll show a couple of the tricks I use to measure keyway widths when milling to a precision size. We also take a look at some of the other machined parts I worked on for the gearbox, some of the gears, and the actual gearbox itself! It's not completed in this video, and there is another section that sits on top of this one that makes up the completed unit. I hope to share more of it later this month.
