Patreon: https://patreon.com/user?u=53475063 Wonderdraft is an easy and affordable drawing package that I use for my large scale D&D maps. It comes with a host of assets to create terrain such as mountains, trees and plants, along with different buildings and town assets. Best of all, there a scores of artists who are creating custom assets to use inside of Wonderdraft that are available either for free non-commercial use, or for a relatively low charge. In this video I used a set of custom cliff assets that I found on the CartographyAssets website, which collects various asset packs from a variety of artists. The number one issue I've found with using custom assets is making sure the directory structure is correct so that Wonderdraft sees them. Fortunately you can find this exact structure on the purchase page of Wonderdraft, which contains a download example pack. I download that example, placing it in the assets subdirectory, then when I download the cliff asset example I put that in the same directory. This allows Wonderdraft to see the assets (transparent png files) when I next start up the program. Finally I show how you can use three color modes for these custom assets: sample, custom and normal. Sample color assets take on the color of the land beneath them, while custom are controlled by you individually. Normal color assets use the color of the original png file.
