Add saffron strands. Dry roast the rooji for 5 mins and keep aside. In a thick bottom pan heat the ghee. Fry rainins and cashews. Keep Aside. Same ghee add the roasted sooji and roast for 4-5 mins. ( until you get pleasant aroma ) Add chopped banana and saute for 2 mins. Add boiling water and milk misture. Mix well. Cover and cook for 3-4 mins. Now add the sugar and cardamom powder. Mix well. Cover and cook until the sugar is disolved and sheera soaks up all the moisture.
